Our Visit from Travis, Sarah & Mason

Travis, Sarah and Mason came to visit us! We were lucky enough to have them here for a week and spent some great time together. Just wanted to post some pics from their visit.

Cute little California girl all bundled up for winter
We went to the Zoo and saw the baby gibbon. He sure did show off for Mason.
Uncle Hazen reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"
Mason reading to Oliver
Touchdown!
Lucy wanted to wear the shirt too (I think she was the bad luck that made the Hawks lose)
Took a nice walk along the greenbeltWatching the sun set over BoiseDoes this look like the face of someone who wants to go snowshoeing?

Happy Birthday!

Today was a good day. We got up early (even set an alarm which Hazen wasn't all that excited about, but will have to get use to it when he starts his job in a couple weeks) and drove out to the town of Twin Falls. It was about 2 hours drive each way but was well worth it. We went to Shoshone Falls which were absolutely beautiful. A little icy so there wasn't anyone else there. Had the place all to ourselves. Lucy liked the ice skating. However, it's not much fun when she is pulling on the leash and you can't stop and feel like you are going to go face first across the ice. (Fortunately Hazen didn't have the camera to take video of anyone falling). Got home with time to spare before the Hawks game to wash the cars. Got to meet the new neighbor from the other side of the duplex (he also didn't seem very happy with our landlord). Watched the Hawks (Aubree slept - only through the first half). Should be a good game next week. Then we had a very nice dinner at a Thai restaurant downtown before coming home and relaxing in the hot tub. Couldn't have been a better birthday. Here are some pics from the day.
Shoshone Falls
There was actually a lot of ice on the ground and Lucy didn't like standing like this at all.
The snake river just below the falls
We need to teach Lucy to take pictures so we don't have to do it ourselves.
