We had the who Armstrong clan here for Thanksgiving and had a great time seeing everyone. We love hosting. Teri's birthday was a couple days before Thanksgiving and Sarah had the great idea to do pictures of Mason and Sawyer for her. Teri also wanted family pictures for her birthday. These are some of the pics that we did.

Finally, an Update!!!
Wow, apparently I have been slacking on updating our blog. Seems like time goes so much faster these days and their isn't enough of it. It seems like we haven't had a lot going on, but I'm sure there has been something in the last month and a half since I posted.
We have been lucky enough to have had Travis living with us for the last couple months. We are very excited that he, Sarah and Mason will all be here soon. Sarah teaches in CA through mid-December and then she and Mason will be moving here too. Travis is in the process of looking at houses for them to buy.
I'm sure you all know that we had Sawyer's first ER visit. We were eating cream of peanut soup for dinner one night and I let him try it. Oops! He started to get red and hives all around his mouth and back of his neck. Luckily it didn't affect his breathing at all. We had to take him to get an allergy test and it confirmed the peanut allergy, as well us letting us know he is allergic to eggs, and that he has eczema. Fun day that was.
Hazen has started back up with his busy season for work and blowing out sprinkler systems. We are so excited for Heather and Ryan to be here this next week, and my mom the week after that to watch Sawyer while we are working. Should be a good couple weeks.
The whole Armstrong clan will be here for Thanksgiving and we are looking forward to that. Will be nice to have everyone here. Will be nice and cozy. Then off to WA for Christmas. The end of the year will be here before we know it.

Allergic reaction to peanuts
I thought he was hungry, but in the 10 seconds it took to heat up his food, he was asleep
Cousin Mason came to visit
We've started feeding Sawyer solid food. He loves his peas.
And his blueberries with pears
Sawyer had a couple friends over, Juliette and Adri
Sawyer loves his big sister. She is indifferent to him.

Deadwood Lookout
We had a great first camping trip with Sawyer. And only a couple bumps in the road. I think we will definitely try to reserve this lookout again for next year. It is behind a locked gate so no one else can be in there. It was so peaceful and relaxing. As you can see from the pictures below, there are windows all the way around with 360 degree views. There was an awesome lightning storm for hours Friday night that we could watch safely from inside the lookout. We were awakened by a noise that night that scared us at first, but what we came to imagine was a mouse and some plastic. It was pretty loud and woke us up several times throughout the night. The next morning we learned that it was a moth inside a plastic bag. We could have just thrown the stupid thing out and gotten better sleep. Sawyer started getting a cold Saturday night and we didn't have the nasal aspirator with us. We almost thought we were going to be packing up and leaving at one o'clock in the morning. Luckily we made it through the night. It was such a beautiful area though and it was nice to get out of town.
