We have been waiting for the weather to get warmer -and stay warmer. We can't wait to get outside more. Sawyer loves to run around outside. We have done a couple drives the last few weekends. We had a blast and saw some beautiful areas. We went to the Bruneau Sand Dunes and Sawyer loved playing in the sand. Last weekend we drove up to a lookout and luckily the clouds cleared enough to have a great view. We were going to go somewhere for the long Memorial Day weekend but it's not working out so we will be relaxing at home. We are excited for summer to start and to have some visitors.

I obviously have a one year old with no time on my hands for updating this blog. We enjoyed both of Sawyer's birthday parties. Here are some pics from both of them, as well as a couple that I took of him for his birthday.

2011

Wow, I sure am slow at getting updates on here lately. We had a great time at home for Christmas. It was nice to have a week off and get to see everyone. Now it's back to the grindstone and time is once again flying by. Only two short months until Sawyer's first birthday. We got out of town last weekend and went for a drive. We had plans of snowshoeing but we never got into enough snow to do it. That's probably a good thing though since we forgot the Bjorn. Sawyer is a little too heavy to carry too far. So we just went for a short walk. Things are going great though and we are loving our family life. Sawyer amazes us every day with the new things he does. He is currently crawling EVERYWHERE and wants to pull himself up on EVERYTHING! We have a couple good falls every day. I tell him that's just what happens when we are learning and he gives me an evil look like I'm the one who pushed him down. We will be back in WA for Sawyer's birthday. Hopefully I will have another post up before then, but I'm not holding my breath.
