This week seemed to fly by. It seems like Aubree's grandma, Patricia, just got here but it was a week ago and now she is already gone again. We both had to work all week so Grandma had to get by on her own for a few days. She did some wandering around the neighborhood as well as figuring out the bus system and riding that downtown a couple days. Friday we went to a nice coffee shop in Eagle that was recommended to us. It was an old church turned into a coffee shop and was very nice. We then were on our way to Emmett to visit one of Aubree's co-workers who owns an antique shop when Hazen started getting a lot of calls from work. We started getting out of cell phone and radio service so had to turn back so Hazen could go back to work. (Hopefully for some overtime pay). Saturday morning we headed downtown for the weekend market. Hazen found a copy of a watercolor that was painted of a town in Italy that we stayed in last year. Grandma found some very expensive, but delicious tomatoes. We all sampled some cheese and sausage and Hazen bought some German sausage that was to die for. Unfortunately the butcher was from a town about 4 hours north so buying more could be a challenge. I think we can order online though. Afterwards we headed to the botanical gardens and wandered through the grounds that weren't quite in bloom yet. Still pretty though. Headed up above town to see some huge, expensive houses to admire then back home to get out of the heat. Was quite hot this weekend. Grandma and her friend, Dodie, took off this morning and we (mostly Hazen) have been working around the house today. Lawn needed yet another mowing. Now we have a few days rest before Aubree's parents arrive Thursday evening.
